The minor edits you say you have done to this peice, I believe most likely add a bit to it to make a clearer focus upon the beetle, or bug, and the sharp focus you achieved photo wise, not just subject wise, is beautiful.
I'm not one who knows a lot about the proper way to critique, but I know how to be specific if that helps.
